Our commitment

Winwire International Inc is an Ontario business and an employer, and we are committed to meeting the requirements of the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act. We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA on this website, and to provide our services in a way that respects dignity and independence.

What we have actually measured

Rather than assert a standard, here is what was tested on this site and what it returned:

• Colour contrast. Every colour was painted into a canvas, read back as sRGB and run through the WCAG formula against all three of our page backgrounds — not sampled from a swatch, and not taken on the worst background only when a better one flattered it. Measured September 21, 2026. Against a 4.5:1 requirement for body text and 3:1 for large text, the worst case for headings is 16.25:1, for body text 6.64:1, and for the small labels and captions 4.84:1.
• A colour we had to fix, and had previously claimed we had. That last one used to measure 3.65:1 on a raised panel — below the threshold — while this page said it had been taken out of anything meant to be read. It had not. It was carrying every field label, timestamp and caption on the site. It was lightened on September 21, 2026 and now returns 5.51:1. We are leaving this paragraph here rather than quietly deleting it, because a page that only lists its passes is not worth reading.
• Motion. If your system is set to reduce motion, the animated hero does not run — you get the same composition, still. Nothing on this site animates without being asked to, and nothing flashes.
• Keyboard. There is a skip link to the main content, focus is always visible, and the mobile menu is a native browser control rather than a scripted one, so it works with assistive technology by default.

Where we know we fall short

This site is new and has not yet had a full audit by a third party, nor testing with real assistive-technology users, which is the only test that truly counts. We have not yet published our multi-year accessibility plan or our accessible-employment policies, both of which Ontario expects of employers of a certain size.

We would rather list those gaps than imply they are closed.
